 Submissions are now open for antiTHESIS Volume 20: FEAR. For this edition of the journal, the editors invite written submissions as well as competition entries from visual and graphic artists — create, invent, construct, draw or paint an image or design to be featured on the antiTHESIS journal cover. The artist whose work is selected to appear on the cover will also be awarded a certificate redeemable for
$500 worth of supplies from Deans Art, generous sponsors of antiTHESIS Volume 20.
Other entries will be considered for publication as colour inserts throughout the journal.
The deadline for submissions is Friday, 30 October 2009.
Final artwork specifications should be:
- Size: 210 x 297 mm (front cover only) or 420 x 297 mm (wrap around cover)
- Resolution: 300 dpi
- Colour: CMYK
All artwork should respond in some way to FEAR, the theme of this year's journal. Entires should be submitted electronically to: editor.antithesis@gmail.com. Please submit artwork as JPGs or PDFs not exceeding 3 Mb in file size. In addition, please provide contact details with all entries, including your email address, postal address and a brief artist biography (100 words maximum).
