antiTHESIS is a fully refereed journal of criticism, theory, and creative writing run by graduate students in the School of Culture and Communication at the University of Melbourne. It is published annually and preceded each year by an interdisciplinary symposium held at the University's Graduate Centre.

The most recent symposium was held on Friday, 10 July 2009; click here to read the proceedings of that event. The next issue of the journal, Volume 20: FEAR, will be published in 2010. Submissions for this issue are currently open; click here to view the "Call For Papers" and click here to access the journal style guide. The deadline for written submissions is Monday, 12 October 2009.

In addition to written submissions, artistic and visual submissions are also being accepted for this issue; click here to view the "Call For Artists" and to access details on the antiTHESIS journal cover design competition. The deadline for artistic and visual submissions is Friday, 30 October 2009.
